Beach Sessions Are Almost Here

As the school year winds down and summer starts peeking around the corner, it’s officially time to start thinking about one of our favorite traditions of the year — beach sessions.

Every summer, we look forward to evenings filled with sandy toes, sea oats, glowing sunsets, and families simply enjoying time together by the water. There’s something timeless about beach portraits. The relaxed atmosphere, soft coastal light, and natural movement create images that feel effortless, genuine, and full of life.

Over the years, these sessions have become such a special tradition for so many Hayes & Fisk families. Some come back year after year as children grow taller, new family members arrive, and milestones quietly unfold in front of the camera. Others use these sessions to celebrate engagements, anniversaries, grandparents visiting for summer vacation, or simply the joy of being together.

One of the things we love most about beach sessions is how versatile they are. Whether it’s a large extended family gathering, playful portraits of little ones running through the dunes, a quiet sunset moment with your spouse, or even bringing along the family dog, the beach provides a beautiful backdrop that never goes out of style.

And while the scenery is always beautiful, it’s truly the connection between people that makes these sessions meaningful. The laughter between siblings, little hands reaching for each other, windswept hair, barefoot walks at sunset — those are the moments that become the images families treasure most.

Summer calendars tend to fill quickly, especially once school lets out and vacation schedules begin, so now is the perfect time to start planning ahead. We schedule these sessions every year and always look forward to reconnecting with returning families while welcoming new ones to the beach for the very first time.
