Capturing Love: Tara & Michael Engagement Session
When Michele Joiner called to share the wonderful news of Michael’s proposal to Tara, we couldn’t wait to celebrate this joyous milestone with them. Not only are we honored to photograph their upcoming wedding at The Jefferson Hotel, but we also had the special privilege of including Tara’s daughter, Olivia, in their engagement session.
Olivia is a shining star—smart, spirited, and absolutely radiant. From the moment she joined the session, her energy brought everything to life, a true reflection of her mom and soon-to-be stepdad, Michael. This beautiful family exudes love, inside and out, making it a dream to capture their story.

The day of the session was nothing short of magical. With a gentle breeze, abundant sunshine, and our garden in full bloom, it was the ideal backdrop for this cherished family. Olivia’s outfits were the highlight—each one telling its own story, from whimsical to elegant. Her wardrobe was a delightful mix of styles, starting with a lace teal-green dress that perfectly complemented the blooming hydrangeas around our gazebo. Barefoot and carefree, Olivia’s joy and grace were captivating, reminding us of a younger Tara.
