Henrico High School Senior: Nenah Davis – Class of 2025

When Charnise reached out about scheduling a senior portrait session for her daughter Nenah, she was looking for something truly special—and we were honored to bring that vision to life. Senior portraits are more than just pictures; they’re a celebration of personality, achievement, and all the promise that lies ahead.

From the moment Nenah arrived at the studio, we were completely taken by her energy. She’s the kind of young woman who lights up the room—radiant, confident, and full of style. With just one thoughtfully chosen outfit, her ODU sweatshirt, and her graduation gown, she made every frame shine. Her cool, effortless vibe came through in every image, reminding us that sometimes less really is more.

After the first few frames, we paused to show her one of the shots on the back of the camera. The look on Nenah’s face—and her mom’s—said everything. That quiet moment of “Yes, this is it” told us we were exactly where we needed to be. From that point on, the session flowed with ease, laughter, and joy.

We paid close attention to every detail, including how to pose Nenah to minimize reflections in her glasses and offering small styling tweaks—like removing her denim jacket mid-session—to give her the most variety possible.

As the session wrapped, Nenah shared her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. With a smile as dazzling as hers, it’s the perfect fit. Charnise later told us that these portraits were more than she had hoped for—a forever gift marking the close of her daughter’s 18 summers. And for us, that’s what it’s all about.
