Marqueen Graduation Portrait Session

This Marqueen Graduation Portrait Session is a very special one.

The pandemic may have delayed Katherine’s session, but it certainly didn’t take away from the joy, pride, and meaning behind it. This session was part of a tradition that began more than 25 years ago with Judy and Tim, who first trusted us to capture their family’s story through the lens. From baby portraits to milestone celebrations, we’ve had the incredible honor of preserving these timeless memories, and Katherine’s graduate school portrait marks the final chapter of this beautiful legacy — for now.

Katherine, their youngest daughter, is graduating with tremendous accomplishments, grace, and strength. Although her older sister, Stephanie, couldn’t travel back from Texas for the session, her presence was deeply felt. The family’s beloved dog made a cameo, adding a little extra personality and love to the session, reminding us all that family comes in many forms.

Life has changed quite a bit for Judy and Tim since their last session. Judy is now retired and embracing a well-earned break from her days at the hospital, while Tim continues to work and take on the exciting challenge of renovating their newly purchased family farm. It's always a joy to see our longtime clients stepping into new adventures with such heart and enthusiasm.

One of the most emotional moments during the session was a heartfelt embrace between Tim and Katherine — a pose that beautifully mirrored a photo we captured years ago of Tim with Stephanie. Judy loved it so much that she surprised Tim with prints of the image for Father’s Day, bringing tears to his eyes and ours.

These sessions are about more than just photographs. They are about preserving relationships, honoring traditions, and creating heirlooms that celebrate life’s biggest and smallest moments. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for this amazing family, and we are truly grateful to have been part of their journey every step of the way.
