Salzberg Studio Session
We were thrilled to have Robin, her daughters Ava and Julia, and their grandmother back in the studio. It seems like only yesterday when we created Julia’s newborn portraits. It’s hard to believe it’s been 11 years, where does the time go!!!
At Hayes & Fisk, we feel internally grateful that we have been given this wonderful gift of freezing time; even if it’s just for a few moments. It warms our hearts to have multiple opportunities to photograph children as they grow from newborns to toddlers to teenagers. We have even been lucky enough to document the several generations of this family - from grandmother to granddaughter and hopefully one day we will capture their weddings and families.
We were so lucky to get to update the generational portrait for Suzie and at the same time update Robin and her girls’ visual history. First of all Robin and Suzie looked amazing, like time has stood still for over a decade. Photographing mother and daughter made it evident to see where Robin gets her youthful appearance and zest for life.
We began the session with each of the girls individually. Then we did several images of them together. They look just like Robin and their kind and generous spirits are a true testament to wonderful parenting. We were dumbfounded at how much both of girls’ beauty has blossomed over the years. Next, we added Robin to the mix and you can see the love these three have for each other. Finally, we added Suzie to this grouping and then made sure to get just some fun shots of Robin and her mom. These images are a true representation of their love and affection for each other.
We had such a great time as we moved from pose to pose and memory to memory, all the while taking the time to let this moment linger in our hearts. We are so blessed to be able to experience the love and togetherness that these women share. They are all such strong and amazing women and we cannot wait to get them in front of the camera again.
