The Moody Family’s Annual Portrait Session: A Cherished Tradition

At Hayes and Fisk Photography, there are few things we look forward to more than annual portrait sessions, like the Moody’s. It’s a tradition that allows us to document the growth and changes in Parrish and Carrington as they blossom from year to year. This ongoing project is a testament to Kim and Andrew’s dedication, persistence, and immense love for their children, as they embrace every moment of the all-too-short 18 summers with their kids under one roof.

Each year, we have the privilege of witnessing Parrish and Carrington’s personalities evolve. Their sense of humor, boundless energy, and unique traits shine through in every session. Individually, they are each a joy to photograph, but together, they create a dynamic and delightful experience that keeps us all laughing. Our expertise in portrait photography allows us to capture these precious moments in a way that highlights their individuality and their bond as siblings.

This year, we saw Carrington surpassing her big brother on the giggle meter, her infectious laughter filling the studio and pushing Parrish to constantly outdo her. The friendly competition between them added an extra layer of fun to the session. Pose after pose, exposure after exposure, and frame after frame, the giggles and joy continued until we wrapped up. Remarkably, we achieve this within a 30-minute time period, making each session a fun and loving memory for the family.

Kim’s choice to keep the family’s clothing theme simple and classic with black attire for indoor sessions has proven to be a brilliant decision. This timeless look allows us to focus on their facial expressions and the subtle changes year after year. The entire collection of their portraits, displayed in their home’s long hallway, serves as a visual journey of the best things they love about their amazing children.

We eagerly anticipate this year’s annual session with the Moody family. It’s an honor to be part of their journey, documenting their story through the lens of our cameras. We can’t wait to see how much Parrish and Carrington have grown and what new memories we will create together.

Stay tuned for the next chapter in the Moody family’s 18 summers.
