Black & White Studio Session

This was such a fun Black and White Studio Session. We can’t believe it has been five years since we saw the Duke-Hawkins girls, and boy have they grown! We were so excited when Jaime reached out about documenting the girls’ hobbies in one of our black-and-white studio sessions. Between violin, guitar, basketball, and dance, we had a lot of options to choose from. 

The session began with a few updated portraits since it had been a while since they had been professionally photographed. Then we captured them both playing their violins. After getting some great images we captured some individual images of both girls We started with Maxie and her guitar. Then she moved on to a few basketball shots.

Once we were finished with Maxie, we got some more images of Zoe with her violin and then we did some dance images. Zoe’s personality really came through in her dance images. She blew us away with some of her modern dance moves. Both girls were amazing in front of the camera. They really let their talent shine through. One of those images might be our next award-winning children’s portrait.

All in all, we had a great time and captured some beautiful images.
