Anselme Sibling Session

We were thrilled to welcome the Anselme Family into our studio for this black-and-white session. These boys were the perfect age and they had an amazing level of energy that suited the goal of our sports project.

Ethan and Jayden are so adorable, polite, and well-mannered. They were both so excited to be photographed in their basketball attire that they were just true naturals in front of the camera. We knew as soon as they walked into the studio that this was going to be an amazing session.

We began by warming the boys up with a few poses together, in simple black shorts, to help everyone just used to the process. We find that these first few shots are so important in determining how the session will flow. It is important for our clients to feel comfortable in front of the camera, but also for us to learn their best sides and angles. Just watching Jayden place his arm around Ethan and hug his brother melted our hearts, so much so that we created a few extra shots that their family with treasure for years to come.

Once we had sufficiently warmed the boys up we had them change into their basketball uniforms - from head to toe they were perfect. We moved from one shot to another, capturing a few poses together along the way. Throughout the whole process, we made sure to authentically represent both of their individual personalities, as well as their relationship together. After a few more poses the boys really got into it and gave us so many great expressions and shots. Ethan tried his best to mimic every pose his bigger brother did to perfection. Jayden was so caring and totally aware that his younger brother would follow his lead. We were more impressed with the way in which Jayden took on this assignment of helping his younger brother. These wonderful children are a great example of brotherly love.

We are so grateful each and every day to be able to create these memories for our clients.
