Communion Session

We couldn’t believe it was time for Abby’s First Communion Portrait Session. Times goes by so fast, but we always look forward to catching up with this family.

Abby was thrilled to be coming back to our studio. That excitement has been a goal, for over 30 years, at our studio. We want people to have such a positive experience that they look forward to coming back time and time again. We understand that is not alway easy to be in front of the camera, so we try and make the experience as wonderful as possible, for each of our clients.

Abby look so beautiful in the white, full-length dress that Kristine chose for this session. The detail on the dress was classic and and Abby wore it so well. It was perfect because the detail was beautiful for close up shots and still stood out for full-lengh images.

We changed angles and poses until we have enough to choose the perfect image. Since both of Kristine’s girls are now Hayes & Fisk pros, we moved quickly and efficiently from beginning to end. We even had time to spare, so we grabbed a few outdoor shots in our garden. Abby loved these images and requested copied in her folio box.

The best pose and the one that ended up as her main portrait, was a side full length pose of Abby looking down with her hands under her chin. The lighting and softness of the color palette was the best we have ever created on our classic hand painted pastel background. There was something totally unexpected in the mood and feeling, that it amazed us all. We love it when everything comes together for the perfect shot.

Now we will just have to make sure to achieve the same level of greatness with Katie in a few short years.
