Cherished Moments with the Chappel Family

Photographing families is one of our greatest joys. It allows parents to see how we capture the unique personalities and moods of their children, and we cherish every moment of it.

Giggles are the best! Whenever children in front of our cameras let go of their awareness of being watched, we capture the most cherished moments for parents. The little things in life make the journey worthwhile, right?

Giggly is how we'll remember the Chappel sisters. They had so much fun during their session that we were all giggling by the end. These kinds of sessions affirm that we are following our true purpose and calling while loving every second of the experience. Katy chose a backdrop of lush green foliage with the late evening sun filtering through, creating a beautiful setting for their portraits. Although it was late winter, the garden's greenery provided a perfect canvas. We began with a classic family portrait, then quickly moved on to more playful poses. We knew right away this session would be special, and we were thrilled to be part of it.

As we transitioned to a more relaxed setting on the garden bench with the setting sun behind us, the real fun began. The girls hugged, peeked around each other, and nearly toppled off the bench in their excitement. These spontaneous moments are some of our favorites from the session.

We then decided to take individual portraits of Ella and Gracie, capturing their unique personalities at this stage of their lives. These portraits will someday be treasured by their own families, a beautiful reminder of their childhood.

Finally, we wrapped up the session on our iconic brick pathway. Despite having giggled their way through the entire shoot, Ella and Gracie still had plenty of laughs left. The joy and spontaneity they brought to the session were truly infectious.

This session will undoubtedly be a memorable milestone for Ella and Gracie. After all, you only get 18 summers and winters to create these precious memories.
