Sibling Oil Portrait

There is nothing more special than honoring the life of a child. We are so fortunate to have met Gene and Pam, their grandchildren, and their daughters Amory and Paige. This day turned out to be a very special day as we captured these memories that will last a lifetime. Brax, Belle, and Collins will forever remember how much fun they had together in our garden and just how much they are loved.

Pam and Gene felt like family. Their no-nonsense and totally fun-loving personalities reminded Jamie of his favorite aunt Sylvia and Uncle Tommy. They had more love for their children and grandchildren than life itself.  It was truly a joy to experience this session through their eyes.

The children were impeccably dressed head to toe, in outfits that Pam made by hand. Her work was truly some of the best we have ever seen. She even told us that she had received a shout-out from a very well-known famous embroidery personality. The children had such a great time and their personalities came through was each click of the camera.

Other than the pure joy of photographing these three siblings, Grandfather Gene’s insistence on the biggest and best we offer in oil painting for him and Pam, was our favorite part of this commission. The fact that he values this memory of his grandchildren so much that only the best would do, made us feel valued as photographers. We understand that oil portraiture can be a costly expenditure, but the memories speak to families for generations to come. Watching Pam’s reaction as we installed the oil portrait was priceless and totally worth the journey.
